AKWABA!



With this word from the vocabulary of the West African ethnic group AKAN; the African Gospel choir would like to welcome you on its web page.

By this word we would like to emphasize the hospitality, which Africans always offer to their guests.

Akwaba Gospel choir is a cultural project that maintains and develops the black african gospel music.

That project was started in June 2008. The main issue was to take enough time in order to find reliable singers. Character trades such as discipline and studiousness were very important.

Finally in March 2009, our members have been found. So we could start really practising.

Our primary goal is, through our voices and the sounds of our drums, to transport affection and joy into your hearts, henceforth contributing to a successful communication among people.

Let us celebrate Africa in our concerts together.
